The O’s just completed a 3-game sweep of the defending American League East champion Saint Petersburg Tampa Devil Rays. This is the team’s first 3-game road sweep to start a season since waaaaay back in 1970.

It’s also the first time they have started 3-0 since the wire-to-wire year of 1997.

And they won a road game on a Sunday. Remember, it was just two years ago that they didn’t even manage that feat until mid-June.

Buck’s birds are alone in first place in the AL East.

Tomorrow at the yard is going to be the best baseball atmosphere this town has seen in 14 years.
