That was the same point I was trying to raise up. The current defense in its form and function does not inspire the matchup complications or headaches that prior Ravens defenses have. This does not bode well for your team. Add in the mix, Cameron's vanilla offensive playcalling, and you have the perfect recipe for a .500 team. I agree with URMOM. A team with 1 win. The Lions were able to put up 38 against the same Browns defense the following week. (no need to get into situational play calling, I get it they had to score because the Browns were.) I'm saying that the Ravens don't have much to be confident about right now. As the former QB Trent Dilfer said about the defense on ESPN, "The Ravens Defense is only feared in name alone and based on their performances from the past."
